This Division provides on-going maintenance, OH&S Testing (Test and Tag, RCD etc) Electrical and Data installations. Commstar focus on Fortune 500 companies and the construction companies that service them. It also provides data specialist services to Star Electrical.

Commstar’s fleet of vans service the Sydney Metropolitan area and NSW regional areas, and provide a range of services, from the installation of one power/data point to a full fit-out. Using an extensive network Commstar has been able to perform rollouts for customers such as Optus (via Bovis) and the Coles-Myers Group (via IBM), from metropolitan areas to the most remote areas.

Commstar Van - Central Coast Commstar can provide quick turn-around service, within 24 hours if required by the customer, with over 300 employees throughout the Star Group at its disposal.

Commstar Communications has an office in the Sydney CBD to service inner city clients. This allows Commstar to reduce call out time from the industry standard of 4 hours, to 1 hour. Commstar’s service technicians are generally less than 30 minutes away from any building in the CBD.

Commstar has a 24/7 presence on a number of sites and, with the backing of Star Electrical, can provide the manpower to perform emergency works or internal relocations as required.
