Commstar Communications was initially set up to focus on Data Cabling Contracting in the late 1990s. Data Cabling remains a large portion of Commstar Communications business.On larger projects Commstar Communications provides the data cabling services to Star Electrical. However on smaller projects Commstar will provide both data and electrical services such as fit-outs and small service projects.

Commstar is accredited with all the major cabling vendors. Commstar Communications is also an Endorsed Supplier for Federal Government Clients and ITS 2067 for NSW State Governments.
